Kurumba bhagavthy has two beautifull visualization . kurumba visualised as mahalkshmi and bhadrakali she is visualised as vagiswari with pratamakuta and as kamsewari with dwiteeya kuta and as Mahalakshmi with thritheeya kuta. Other one which balaparameswari is visualized with pratama kuta and balakurumba with dwiteeya and Bhadrakali with tritheeya kuta. Shakti puja is done in the Aroodam of many sri kurumaba temple on the costal area of north kerala . Some Aroodam even have peeta pratishata done by meppad Sampradya. Normal vadaken bagam done in temple is different from the meppad Sampradayam shaktheya puja ritual, vadakern bhagam is done by the preist of the temple called Embran. Shaktheya puja done by Meppad Sampradayam Tantri is shakti aradhana with Avarana puja were karanam and shudi is used . the main mantra of bala and jaya durag is also used in pratishata vidhanam and puja . Two gaytri mantras are used in kurumba vidhanam one belongs to Durga / mahalakshmi and other belongs to Bhadrakali.
